Send published changelog updates to a Google Chat space immediately or as a weekly or monthly digest.

Create an incoming webhook

  1. Open the destination Google Chat space in a desktop browser.
  2. Open the space menu, choose Apps & integrations, then Add webhooks.
  3. Give the webhook a name, save it, and copy its URL.

Your Google Workspace account must support incoming webhooks and your administrator must allow them. See Google's webhook setup guide if the option is unavailable.

Configure ChangeCrab

  1. Go to your changelog's Settings > Notifications.
  2. Paste the copied URL into Google Chat Webhook URL.
  3. Choose Immediately, Weekly digest, or Monthly digest, then save.

Weekly and monthly digests require a paid plan or active trial. They replace individual update alerts and follow the digest schedule in Settings > Subscribers. All times are UTC. Empty digests are skipped.

To disconnect, clear the webhook URL and save. Keep webhook URLs private: their key and token allow messages to be posted to the space.
