Microsoft Teams Integration

Send published changelog updates and new suggestions to your Microsoft Teams channel using a Workflows webhook.

Creating a Teams webhook

1. Open the destination channel in Microsoft Teams and choose Workflows.
2. Choose the template for posting to a channel when a webhook request is received.
3. Set the webhook sender option to Anyone, so ChangeCrab can send notifications without signing in to Microsoft.
4. Confirm the destination channel, create the workflow, and copy its webhook URL.

Configuring in ChangeCrab

1. Go to Settings > Notifications
2. Find the "Microsoft Teams Workflow URL" field
3. Paste the Workflows webhook URL
4. Save settings

Choose immediate, weekly, or monthly changelog delivery in the Teams notification settings. Weekly and monthly digests are available on paid plans and active trials, and follow the changelog's digest schedule in Settings > Subscribers. All schedule times are UTC. New suggestion alerts continue to arrive immediately, regardless of the changelog delivery preference.

Replacing an older webhook

Microsoft has retired Office 365 connector webhooks. If your existing Teams notifications have stopped, create a Workflows webhook and replace the saved URL in ChangeCrab. See Microsoft's webhook setup guide for details. Keep the webhook URL private, since it allows messages to be posted to your channel.
