There’s a certain magic in the air this time of year - twinkling lights, mugs of something warm, and that unmistakable smell of “we really should finish these last features before we take a well-earned Christmas break.”

December at ChangeCrab is always a curious blend of whimsy and hard graft. While most people are deciding whether it’s too early to open the good chocolates, we’re huddled around our screens, building, polishing, tweaking and generally trying to make ChangeCrab better than ever before. The holiday season may be approaching, but the elves in our workshop (that’s us) have been very busy indeed.

And so, before we disappear into a festive haze of mince pies and questionable novelty jumpers, here’s a round-up of what we’ve delivered so far this December.

We’ve launched a completely new Knowledgebase - our most comprehensive resource yet.

With 56 detailed articles, this library now walks users through every feature and service we offer, from the basics to the more advanced workflows.

Whether you're onboarding, troubleshooting, or just exploring what ChangeCrab can really do, the new Knowledgebase should feel like a friendly, well-organised guide at your side.

🖼️ AI Image Generation for Changelog Posts

Changelog posts just became a lot more expressive.

You can now generate AI images directly inside the Changelog editor, powered by OpenAI.

• Perfect for illustrating updates
• Great for adding personality and flair
• Simple to use
• Costs just 4 credits per image

This feature has been one of our most requested creative tools - so we’re excited to see how you use it to bring your announcements to life.

⏳ ETAs on Suggestions

We’ve also added something that will make both users and admins very happy: ETAs on suggestions.

Admins can now add, modify, or remove ETAs for any suggestion via the settings.
This gives your community a clearer, more transparent view of your roadmap intentions.

A few key notes:

• All published ETAs are publicly visible
• No notifications are sent at this time when an ETA is added
• Admins retain full flexibility to adjust ETAs as things evolve

It’s a small addition with a big impact - helping teams communicate timelines without over-promising.

As we reach the end of the year, it’s been lovely to look back at everything we’ve built, refined and reimagined. From big platform enhancements to the little touches that make your day-to-day smoother, 2025 has been a year of meaningful progress for ChangeCrab.
