Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Dashboard

Log in to your ChangeCrab account and navigate to your dashboard. You'll see an overview of all your changelogs (initially empty).

Step 2: Click "Create New"

On your dashboard, click the "Create New" or "New Changelog" button. This will open the changelog creation form.

Step 3: Enter Basic Information

Fill in the required information:

  • Changelog Name - A descriptive name for your changelog (e.g., "My Product Updates")
  • Description - A brief description of what this changelog is for (optional but recommended)
  • Subdomain - Choose a subdomain for your changelog (e.g., "myproduct" will create "myproduct.changecrab.com")

Tip: Choose a subdomain that's easy to remember and represents your product or brand. You can also set up a custom domain later.

Step 4: Configure Initial Settings

You can configure additional settings now or later:

  • Privacy - Make your changelog public or private
  • Accent Color - Choose a color that matches your brand
