Billing and Subscription Management

Manage your ChangeCrab subscription, billing information, and payment methods. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription as needed.

Accessing Billing

To manage billing:

  1. Go to Billing section in your account
  2. View current plan and subscription status
  3. Manage payment methods
  4. View billing history

Choosing or changing a plan

Compare the current plans and GBP, USD and EUR prices on the pricing page.

  • Free: 50 active subscriber slots. One page, owner only, with the Free features below.
  • Starter: 250 active subscriber slots. One page, owner only, with Free features and API access.
  • Premium: 1,000 active subscriber slots. 10 changelogs, team collaboration and the Premium features below.
  • Business: 2,500 active subscriber slots. 25 changelogs, all Premium features and priority support.

Active subscriber slots are counted across changelogs owned by the billing account. The same email on two changelogs uses two slots. Unsubscribed contacts do not count.

Open Billing to choose a plan and currency. Existing subscriptions keep their currency. Review and confirm a plan change before it takes effect. Upgrades apply after payment with proration; downgrades apply at renewal. Pages, subscribers, collaborators and settings must fit the lower plan before a downgrade can be scheduled. The lower allowance then applies to new additions and settings until renewal. No content is deleted automatically.

Cancel a scheduled downgrade in Billing with “Keep my current plan”. Manage payment methods, invoices and renewal cancellation through the billing portal. Cancellation retains access until the end of the paid period. Existing subscriptions, manual grants and agreed custom allowances are preserved; legacy billing or special prices may need support.

Subscription Management

Upgrading

To upgrade to premium:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click "Upgrade" or "Choose Plan"
  3. Select premium plan
  4. Enter payment information
  5. Confirm upgrade

Managing Payment

Update payment methods through the Stripe customer portal:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click "Manage Subscription" or "Payment Methods"
  3. Access Stripe customer portal
  4. Update payment information

Billing Information

View:

  • Current plan and features
  • Billing cycle and renewal date
  • Payment history
  • Invoices and receipts
