User Permissions and Roles

Understand user permissions, roles, and access levels in ChangeCrab teams. Control what team members can do with your changelogs.

Permission Levels

Create

Users with create permission can:

• Create new changelogs
• Create new entries
• Add categories

Edit

Users with edit permission can:

• Edit existing entries
• Modify changelog settings
• Update categories

Delete

Users with delete permission can:

• Delete entries
• Remove categories

Manage

Users with manage permission have:

• Full administrative access
• All permissions combined
• Can delete changelogs

Setting Permissions

To set permissions:

1. Go to Team settings
2. Select team member
3. Choose permission level
4. Save changes
